Christopher Boag

Chris, Director of Royston Capital, brings over two decades of experience in the financial industry, marked by a journey of growth and expertise.

Commencing his career as an actuarial analyst with Towers Perrin in 1998, Christopher’s early experiences in superannuation valuation laid the groundwork for his deep understanding of wealth management.

His international stint with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in London broadened his horizons, enriching his expertise in financial advisory. Returning to Australia, Christopher honed his skills further with Godfrey Pembroke before making significant strides in establishing an Investment Advisory division at Mutual Trust, a renowned family office.

At Royston Capital, Christopher’s leadership is driven by a commitment to empowering individuals and families with personalized, innovative, and ethical wealth management solutions. Christopher ensures clients achieve financial success through tailored portfolio strategies, tax optimization, and comprehensive estate planning. His dedication to transparency, trust, and client satisfaction underscores every aspect of his work.

Christopher holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Economics and a Master of Financial Planning. He has been a member of the Financial Advice Association (FAAA) for over 20 years. Beyond the boardroom, Christopher is a passionate sailor, winning numerous titles and representing Australia internationally.

Lisa Chu

As an Associate Advisor at Royston Capital, Lisa assists the team with the provision of strategic wealth advice, investment, insurance and philanthropy.

Lisa joined the team at Royston Capital as an Associate Advisor in 2024. Lisa draws on her education at Melbourne University where she graduated from a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honors.  Lisa also completed a semester-long exchange program at the King’s College London and completed the course with First Class Honors. Lisa is currently studying Certified Financial Analyst (Level 1).

Ofer has over 20 years experience in financial markets including the last 10 working on equity valuation and portfolio management across listed and unlisted investments.

Ofer is a Portfolio Manager at Magellan Financial Group. Prior to this he worked for the Colonial First State Global Listed Infrastructure Fund where he was the best performing analyst over 1, 2 and 3 years. He brings a wealth experience in finance, having worked in many different facets of the investment resulting in extensive interaction with management, government and operators of companies and assets.

Brad Rosenthal

Brad brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Royston Capital team as a Financial Adviser specializing in holistic financial advice.

With a career spanning back to 2012, Brad has dedicated himself to providing tailored solutions to his clients’ diverse and complex financial needs.

Brad’s journey in the finance industry began in 2015, and since then, he has honed his skills and knowledge to become a trusted advisor. His previous roles include working for MyLife Financial Planning and serving as the Head Financial Planner for EL&C Baillieu’s Melbourne office.

With a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Finance and Financial Planning, Brad is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a member of esteemed organizations such as the Financial Planning Association of Australia and the Tax Practitioners Board. His commitment to professional excellence ensures that he delivers comprehensive and effective financial advice to his clients.

Outside of the office, Brad enjoys spending quality time with his daughter Sloane, immersing himself in literature, cycling, and discovering new culinary experiences at Melbourne’s vibrant restaurants and cafes.

Sara Syed

Investment Analyst & Portfolio Manager. Sara joined Royston Capital in 2025, bringing over seven years of experience in equities research, fund development, and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Royston Capital, Sara was a key member of the investment team at Perpetual Guardian Investments (PGI) in New Zealand. There, she was responsible for fundamental company research and equity analysis, contributing directly to stock selection and portfolio construction. Her role expanded to include strategic product design, culminating in the successful launch of a tailored Australasian equity fund, where she served as Portfolio Manager. The fund featured a conviction-based scoring framework and custom screening tools developed under her leadership.

Sara’s early career included roles in financial and acquisition analysis, providing her with a strong grounding in corporate finance and capital markets.

She is a CFA Charterholder and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and holds a Master of Applied Finance (with Distinction) from Auckland University of Technology. She also represented New Zealand in the Global Finals of the CFA Institute Research Challenge in Chicago.

At Royston Capital, Sara is responsible for the design and management of portfolios that reflect a clear long-term strategy. Her research-driven approach and investment acumen support tailored solutions across a wide range of asset classes and mandates.
